1.)Period eyeglasses or contact lenses are to be worn by those requiring corrective lenses. 2.) No cigarette smoking, modern utensils or other anachronisms will be allowed in the authentic camp during the public hours of the event. Essential modern items -– such as medicine, contact supplies, etc. -– will be kept out of sight, and in proper period containers. 3.) All infantrymen will carry a three-band musket. 4.) No women are permitted in the ranks. 5.) No member in the ranks under the age of eighteen. 6.) Individuals wearing light artillery, heavy artillery or cavalry impressions will not be allowed in infantry ranks. 7.) All individuals -– Officers, NCOs and Privates –- may be subject to military and camp duties. 8.) Casey’s Tactics will be the manual of instruction and drill. 9.) All individuals, both military and civilian, should conduct themselves in a manner appropriate to the period. 10.) Disorderly, disruptive or dangerous conduct will not be tolerated. 11.) Camp singing and playing of instruments, whether in a group or individually, will be of period Civil War songs -– originating prior to 1865. 12.) Uniforms shall be worn for the duration of the event. 13.) Only authentic food and cooking methods are allowed in camp. 14.) Specific items that will not be allowed in camp are:
